Family-owned craft cider brand The Good Cider is adding a 2.5% ABV Lemon expression to its existing range to appeal to ‘mindful’ drinkers.
Produced in Lerida, northern Spain, The Good Cider has a history of over 100 years in cider making, dating back to 1918.
The new Radler Lemon, available in 330ml bottles, “packs a flavoursome punch”, and provides retailers and operators with a low-ABV cider for consumers who are mindful of their alcohol intake.
All of the fruit ciders in the brand’s range, which also includes apple, pear, strawberry, peach and wild berry variants, are vegan certified and gluten-free.
The Good Cider is distributed by Novus Sales Ltd in the UK. Sales director Phil Warren said: “The Lemon Radler is an innovation for the cider category as it continues to develop.
“It will appeal to a broad range of consumers, including mindful drinkers and millennials, looking for different experiences as they continue to experiment and diversify their repertoire of drinks.
“We have maintained the quality of the liquid, which has won medals for our other blends, while innovating and pushing boundaries in flavour and ABV to offer a different type of fruit cider.“
