Luke Brown, Sales and Commercial Director at Oak & Still, answers a few questions about their family business in our exclusive Q&A.
- Tell us a little bit about yourself, and Oak & Still.
“Fine Wine Sellers was established in 2006 and Oak & Still was created as the premium drink’s agency arm in 2020.
“We are a fully owned and operated family business, headed by my sister Jessica who is Managing Director, while my role is of Sales and Commercial Director since having joined the family business in 2010.
“We have a portfolio of premium, international drinks brands that we represent exclusively in the UK, as well as an extensive wine offering which is focused specifically on the hospitality sector.”
2. Why is Oak & Still a good fit for hospitality businesses?
“Hospitality operators are our final point of contact with consumers and are therefore the key for us to introduce our brands to their audience.
“Our portfolio of brands offers diversity of serve, from very simple to more complex, and encourages creativity in the way every brand is employed. We have products which are extremely unique in their offering, and others which are best in class in their category and can be used as main ingredients or modifiers.
“We love to support our partners and have great incentives available for outlets and individuals to help really buy into the brands and offer exciting and innovative opportunities.”

3. What do your products offer to both bar operators and consumers?
“Our products are all about authenticity, provenance and quality, which allow us to create new experiences for operators and consumers alike.
“For example, Codigo 1530 Rosa Tequila creates a stunning Pink Paloma; Nemiroff ‘The Inked Collection’ Vodkas are not only visually engaging, but also offer a range of innovative, natural flavours, including Burning Pear which was recently awarded world’s best vodka; An Dúlamán Irish Maritime Gin is a category creator and is a product that really stands out from the crowd in the saturated gin category.”
4. What are your goals, short and long term?
“All we want is to continue building a strong and diverse portfolio of products alongside our knowledgeable team, so we can offer more exciting drinking experiences to bars and consumers.
“We want to enjoy what we do and have lots of fun along the way.”
