Bar group The Snug has introduced a new cocktail menu across its seven venues featuring floral flavours, “crazy” combinations and sharing drinks.
Lavender, wildflowers, rose and light spring and summer flavours have been incorporated into the menu in cocktails with names such as The Lavender White Lady, Hendrick’s Summer Garden, Wildflower Martini (pictured top) and Rosewater Spritz.
The Snug has added to its sharing drinks with The Snug Craft Cocktail. For £19.95 customers receive a bottled cocktail for four to share, with ingredients reflecting changing seasons and trends.
A new section, “Weird and Wonderful”, includes the Hunter’s Grog (pictured below), made with Jägermeister, as well as classic tequila-based cocktails El Diablo and Paloma.
The traditional favourites such as Singapore Sling, Mojito, Cosmopolitan and Long Island Iced Tea all feature on the updated “Snug Favourites” section which features as part of the two-for-one happy hour daily between 3pm and 7pm.
Giles Fry, owner of The Snug, said: “We are renowned for our cocktails across the home counties and this new menu revamp sees us becoming even more playful with ingredients and exciting combinations. There’s something for every guest on this menu.’
The Snug Bar and Kitchen has sites in Cambridge, High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, and Hertford and Hitchin in Hertfordshire. On June 11, it officially launched its newest bar in High Street, Ware, in Hertfordshire after an extensive refurbishment.
Ahead of the revamp of the former Vine pub, The Snug opened on the site as a “pop-up” in March offering a small “taster” menu from the full Snug offering including brunch, lunch, burgers, appetisers and hot dogs and a selection of its favourite cocktails.
Giles added: “The Snug has gone from strength to strength in its six other locations in the UK, and following our full makeover in Ware, we are really excited to able to offer the full Snug experience and everything that our fun and friendly Bar and Kitchen has to offer.”
