The latest designs by renowned jeweller Theo Fennell have inspired a list of new cocktails at Threadneedle Bar in London.

Sebastian Kasyna, manager of the bar at the Royal Exchange Grand Café in the City, has based the new recipes on three new pieces launched by the designer. The cocktails are each priced £10.

The Pot of Gold Cocktail (pictured above) is dedicated to Theo’s classic design, the Bee, which, for the latest collection, can be seen in the new Citrine Bee Earrings. The Martini-style drink is made with whisky, apricot brandy, chocolate bitters and Umeshu Choya.

Rosemary’s Sapphire Fizz (pictured below) is inspired by the Peach & Purple Sapphire Empress Necklace and made with gin, fresh rosemary, sugar, ruby red grapefruit juice and prosecco.

The Turtle Marine ‘Arts charm, made from 18-carat yellow gold, tsavorite and diamonds, is celebrated with the frappé-style Emerald Mine (pictured below), made with rum, blue curaçao, pineapple juice and coconut cream, served with crushed ice.

Threadneedle Bar is offering a bespoke service in collaboration with the Theo Fennell store in the Royal Exchange where guests can choose a piece of jewellery to be served alongside the cocktails – described as “the perfect surprise for a loved one this Valentine’s Day”.
