Compass Box releases limited-edition super blend of three exceptional single malts, each aged exactly 10 years.
London, UK, 23rd September 2026 — Compass Box, the London-based Scotch whiskymaker known for flavour-first blending and market-leading transparency, today announces the release of This is a 10-Year-Old Whisky: a limited-edition blended malt Scotch whisky, created with three outstanding single malts: Clynelish, Ardnamurchan (Peated) and Ardnamurchan (Unpeated) – each aged 10 years exactly.
Only 3,610 bottles worldwide. No artificial colouring, no chill-filtration, no shortcuts. Just a statement.
Full transparency: a recipe disclosed in full
By law, the age statement on a blended Scotch whisky can only reflect the age of the youngest whisky in the blend. This means a whisky drinker can rarely be certain exactly what’s in their glass, or how old each part of it really is.
“At Compass Box, we have always believed that whisky lovers deserve better. We go further: every component, its age, and its origin, disclosed in full, every time,” says Nishat Gupte, Compass Box CEO.
Every whisky in this bottle is exactly 10 years old.
“Every whisky in this bottle is exactly 10 years old. So, we call it what it is. This is a 10-Year-Old Whisky is not a statement about the industry, it’s a statement about us: full transparency, no compromises. It’s simply the way we believe whisky should be made and shared.”
Three malts, one extraordinary whisky
Each component in this whisky is an exceptional single malt on its own. Clynelish brings its signature waxy, coastal complexity. The two Ardnamurchan expressions – peated and unpeated – add smoke, bass, structure and a wild Highland character that few distilleries can match.
Brought together in ‘This is a 10-Year-Old Whisky’, the three single malts deliver something greater than the sum of their parts: light and glossy, with Pink Lady apple and rhubarb crumble, custard, and pineapple upside-down cake, creamy white chocolate and vanilla panna cotta, soft apricots and dustings of nutmeg.

This release marks ten years since Compass Box first began publicly advocating for greater transparency in how Scotch whisky recipes are shared with consumers, a conviction that has helped shape the brand ever since.
