Time Out offers enhanced listings for bars and clubs

Bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants can now enhance their listings on Time Out London’s website through a new Premium Profiles service.

It will enable businesses to promote themselves more visibly in search results on timeout.com/london and to boost their profile and awareness to the site’s six million monthly unique users.

Participating businesses will be able to buy top-of-search listings by volume, with an expanded listing and the option to include tailored messaging for the duration of the campaign.

Sponsored listings will appear at the top of relevant search results, displayed against a yellow background to clearly distinguish them from editorial reviews and content.

Bars already signed up to Premium Profiles include The Loft in Clapham, south London (pictured).

Kimberley O’Hara, group chief commercial officer at Time Out, said: “At Time Out, we’re in a unique position to have a highly engaged and socially-active community of fans. Our highly social audience goes out at least twice as often as the average Londoner.

“Premium Profiles is an affordable and effective way for London’s venues – from small independent cafés to large established businesses ¬– to tap into Time Out’s trusted position as the capital’s tastemaker and open up a direct dialogue with our millions of fans.”

Premium Profiles will be rolled out across Time Out’s global network, with launches for New York and Paris due in September 2014.
