Distil Plc (AIM: DIS), owner of premium drinks brands RedLeg Spiced Rum, Blackwoods Gin and Vodka, Blavod Black Vodka, Jago’s Cream Liqueur and Diva Vodka, has announced the launch of TRØVE, a new range of refreshing, lower ABV (30%) Botanical Vodkas distilled with real fruit and botanicals.
Targeting key 2021 trends towards lower abv offerings to suit more thoughtful, balanced lifestyles, while still delivering big fruit flavours and a complex palette, TRØVE is made with 100% natural ingredients, zero sugar or carbohydrates and is just 41 calories per 25ml serving.
TRØVE has been created in partnership with Master Distiller Sion Edwards (founder of Warner Gin) who has carefully selected the best botanicals to distil with real fruit to naturally unlock and amplify the lead fruit flavours. The botanicals have also been chosen to lend complexity of flavour and give the same rich mouthfeel as full-strength spirits at just 30% ABV.
Three variants have been developed for launch: Valencian Orange with Lime, Green Apple with Ginger, and Raspberry with Lemongrass and Mint. Light and aromatic, the products have been developed to mix well with tonic or soda for long refreshing drinks that are lower in calories. All varieties are vegan, gluten free, sugar-free, no carb and just 41 calories per serving.
Ahead of launch, the brand has already secured two gold and one silver medal at The Spirits Business Low & No Masters 2021.
