Two new vegan launches from Calder Foods

Calder Foods, part of Creative Foods Europe, has added two new Love Fresh vegan and vegetarian dishes to its range.

The first dish is Pulled Jackfruit in a thick, smoky BBQ sauce, is positioned as an alternative to pulled pork.

It can be served on top of a plant-based burger with spinach and vegan cheese, as a pizza topping or mixed in with sweet potato mash to create potato cakes.

The Tofu Tinga filling is shredded tofu with kidney beans and chickpeas in a Mexican-style spicy tinga sauce.

Calder Foods suggest filling cannelloni shells with Tofu Tinga and baking covered with spicy tomato sauce and grated Mexican cheese or serving on top of a tostada with vegan mayonnaise, diced avocado, chopped tomato and red onion.
