Primo Aperitivo, a new premium range of Italian ready-to-serve aperitivo, has made its debut in the UK.
Created by Italian-born mixologists Danilo Tersigni and Filippo Previero, as well as Roma Bar Show founder Andrea Fofi, Primo is a “celebration of Italy’s vibrant cocktail culture”.
It has been developed to provide “an accessible yet special drinking experience” for consumers to enjoy, no matter where they are in the world.
The first cocktail in the collection is the Negroni, which is available now nationwide. Two additional flavours are set to be released this spring.
Available in 50cl bottles, Primo Negroni (26% ABV) has been handcrafted in Italy using quality ingredients, including a bespoke blend of dry gin, vermouth and bitter aperitif.
The result is a “perfectly balanced cocktail, layered with intense, deep bittersweet notes and hints of citrus fruit”.
To serve, bartenders can simply pour Primo Negroni into a rocks glass over ice and garnished with a wedge of orange.
