Upmarket bar set to open in Lake District village

The Fizzy Tarté

A bar specialising in cocktails, champagne and patisserie is set to open in a Lake District village later this month.

The team behind the Cranleigh Boutique hotel in Bowness-on-Windermere plan to bring a “city vibe” to the village with the opening of The Fizzy Tarté in nearby Ash Street.

They have appointed two experienced bartenders Kuba Marcisz and Csaba Palyov to ensure “showmanship service” at the new bar and café.

The management team at the Cranleigh Boutique Brand say that The Fizzy Tarté “will bring a new dynamic to the vibrant village, with an injection of luxury and outstanding service”.

Kuba said: “We are going to be creating a really different experience, with new tastes and something for everyone. To be a good mixologist, you need to be able to tailor the cocktails to the individual customer’s tastes. It’s all about matching their preferences to what we serve. That bespoke service is very much the ethos of the Cranleigh brand.”

The Cranleigh Boutique, which has won numerous awards, was founded in 2007 by Stephen Hargreaves.
