Vedett extends range in bottles and on draught with IPA

A new IPA is being launched for Belgian beer brand Vedett, available in both bottles and on draught.

Extra Ordinary IPA, at 5.5% ABV, combines the subtropical citrus and more floral and fresh aromas of different hop varieties, Simcoe, Cascade, Centennial and Chinook.

It has pronounced bitterness which increases in intensity, revealing hints of grapefruit in the finish. Fuelled by velvety, malty undertones, it leads to sweeter caramel notes and a long-lasting, dry aftertaste. It is recommended for serving at around 6C.

Available in 33cl bottles and on draught, it joins Vedett Extra Blond and Vedett Extra White, part of the Duvel Moortgat portfolio.

Matthew Willson, Duvel Moortgat’s UK general manager, said: “This new addition to the Vedett stable will offer discerning beer enthusiasts another element of choice. It’s also a great drink to pair with spicier food.”
