Bannisters Yorkshire Family Farm has introduced a new range of vegan baked potato skins to its portfolio.
The potato skins, which are gluten-free and ready to heat from frozen, are filled with a number of recipes and come with a mozzarella-style melt.
Developed to help caterers respond to the fast-growing demand for a wide variety of plant-based menu options, the range combines globally-inspired ingredients with British baked potato skins.
Recipes include Mediterranean Tomato, Roasted Pepper and Olives, Arrabbiata, Hickory BBQ Jackfruit, Sundried Tomato and Jalapeño.
The skins are available in two sizes: regular and mini. They are suitable for starters, sharing plates, bar snacks, light lunches or as side dishes and can be heated in the oven or microwave.
Marie Medhurst, sales director at Bannisters Yorkshire Family Farm, said: “Making the switch to a vegan diet is so much easier if the most comforting, tempting foods are still available – and that includes baked potato skins topped with a moreish mozzarella-style melt and interesting, tasty ingredients.
“With our new vegan range of baked potato skins we aim to make it easier for caterers to provide some flavoursome options that are enticing enough to appeal to customers with all tastes and diets.
