The teams at The Alchemist bars in Spinningfields and New York Street in Manchester have collaborated to come up with an exotic cocktail for this year’s Cocktails in the City event. In this video, they demonstrate how to make the Loire Lady (pictured), which uses Chambord Liqueur, Finlandia grapefruit vodka, vermouth and Angostura Bitters.
It is one of several videos brought together by the organisers of Cocktails in the City, which takes place at Manchester Town Hall on May 8 from 6pm, giving a chance for bars and drinks brands to interact with cocktail-loving consumers.

Other bars involved include Epernay, Harvey Nichols, Manchester House, Whim Wham Cafe, Mojo, Lucha Libre and Sandinista, teamed up with Belvedere, Chambord, Chase, Tanqueray No Ten, Whitley Neill, El Dorado, Flor de Caña and Calle 23.
The Manchester event will be followed by Cocktails in the City events in London on September 18 and 19 and Edinburgh on October 23. Cocktails in the City was also held in Leeds in April, featuring the likes of The Maven, Jake’s Bar, Harvey Nichols, The Alchemist, Blind Tyger, The Pit, Mojo and Sandinista.
