A new video has been released of this autumn’s Maker’s Mark Bartender Trove challenge, where finalists competed for a trip to Maker’s Mark in Loretto, Kentucky.

Tim Pryde from The Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh won against three London-based bartenders: Chris Lacey of Rules, Rusty Cerven of The Connaught Bar, and Michal Buben, formerly of NinetyEight Bar and Lounge.

The final was held at steakhouse and bar Mash London in Soho where they were tasked with using their own precious bartending object, or “Trove”, to create a new Maker’s Mark cocktail.

They were given an £80 budget to scour the streets of Soho on the hunt for extraordinary ingredients that would complement the bourbon in their drink.
