Best Bar None video

A new video has been produced to celebrate how Best Bar None schemes have helped to promote responsible alcohol consumption and higher professional licensing standards in pubs, bars and clubs.

The film premiered as part of the ceremony for the National Best Bar None Awards at a parliamentary reception at the House of Lords alongside a new annual report.

The video outlines the success of the scheme to date and summarises plans for the future, featuring The Deltic Group’s CEO Peter Marks, Plymouth Best Bar None chairman Jay McDonnell, Nottinghamshire’s Best Bar None co-ordinator Sylvia Oates, sergeant Matthew Burdett from Sheffield’s Business Improvement District, Carol Feenan of Durham’s Best Bar None scheme, Suffolk’s assistant chief constable Rachel Kearton of the National Police Chiefs Council, detective chief inspector Georgie Barnard of the National Business Crime Centre, Lord Smith of Hindhead, and Best Bar None national coordinator Mick McDonnell.
