Its branded fishbowls are being promoted to bars, clubs and pubs with a spooky twist, supported by point-of-sale materials including screen media and special ingredients to enhance the drinks.
Global Brands marketing director Simon Green said: “In true Halloween style, we’re adding popping candy and Dracula teeth sweets to the VK Ghoul-Fish Bowls, which produce a spookily sinister crackle and generate Halloween theatre to the serve.
“Halloween is a high-volume student period and we want to support the on-trade to help them make the most of this. For students, it’s about going all out with the Halloween theme, and there’s no reason why a drink can’t be part of this.”
VK, which is available in seven different flavours, is being promoted for four themed shared serves in the Ghoul-Fish Bowls. They include the Black Cat, made with VK Blue and Corky’s Sour Cherry, topped with lemonade and ice, and the Ghostly Green, combinging VK Apple and Corky’s Sour Apple, topped with lemonade and ice.
“The VK Ghoul-Fish Bowls are an exciting consumer offering, yet simple for outlets to produce by using their existing VK fishbowls,” Simon added.
