Warner Edwards celebrates with new sloe gin

Warner Edwards Sloe Gin BottleWarner Edwards Distillery near Northampton celebrated its first anniversary with the launch of its new Harrington Sloe Gin.

The limited-edition sloe gin has been made with sloe berries that were picked by people across Northamptonshire in what was called the Warner Edwards Great British Sloe Swap. They were rewarded with an invite to the launch and first-anniversary party.

The craft distillery in Harrington, Northamptonshire, was set up a year ago by Tom Warner and Sion Edwards and this year launched the acclaimed Harrington Dry Gin.

Tom said: “We are delighted to launch our new limited-edition Harrington Sloe Gin. It’s very vibrant and fruity in flavour with lots of structure on the palette.

“It’s been an amazing year. We can’t quite believe it has been a year since we first launched. We have worked like demons and have not looked back since.”

Sion added: “We have been getting a great response from everyone and to have that support is great. People have been brilliant. It gives us that foundation we need to take our brand internationally.”
