We Are Bar Group is selling four sites, including three branded as Jamies wine bars, to pub company and brewer Fuller’s.

The two businesses have today announced they have agreed the deals for Jamies in Creechurch Lane near Aldgate, Jamies in Fleet Place in the City, Jamies in London Bridge Street (pictured) and The Saint in Paternoster Square in the City.

Two of the sites are already completed, with two due to follow in a few weeks.

Ian Banks, CEO of We Are Bar Group, said: “I’m pleased to confirm that we agreed to sell the four venues to Fuller’s following a strategic review of our business.

“We have great teams at these sites and I am confident both our people and the venues will flourish under Fuller’s ownership. I wish them all the best for the future.”

Fuller’s Inns managing director Jonathon Swaine added: “We are delighted with this acquisition. The four bars are all in the heart of the City and are a great fit with our existing sites and strategy. We are very excited about these venues and to welcome the teams in the bars to the Fuller’s family.”

We Are Bar Group, formerly known as Kornicis Group, also operates six Jamies bars at Suffolk Lane, Tudor Street, Minories, Ludgate, London Wall and St Mary at Hill as well as Number 25 and Willy’s Wine Bar. Established in the 1980s, Jamies led the wave of modern wine bars.
