Westons Cider, the UK’s leading authentic cider maker, is injecting some fun into the summer as it introduces a new Tropical Cloudy Cider to its popular Rosie’s Pig range.

Rosie’s Pig Tropical Cloudy Cider taps into growing consumer demand for cocktail-inspired ciders and citrus flavoured spirits, while offering an infused serve that boasts refreshing notes of pineapple and coconut.

The lively taste of the cider is balanced perfectly with the tropical elements to deliver a sweet and elegant serve ideal for the warmer months. In line with the range, the new variant is available in a 10L bag-in-box format, perfect for busy bars.

“Cocktails have fuelled post-Covid growth in spirits, but we know they are time-consuming for outlets. This exotic new flavour offers a quick and practical way for pubs and bars to provide drinkers with a delicious tropical drink without the need for complicated cocktail making”, says Gemma Evans, Rosie’s Pig Brand Manager at Westons Cider.

“Offering a fun fruity serve, like our new Rosie’s Pig Tropical, alongside a premium apple cider on draught, enables venues to tap into seasonal trends guaranteed to drive profits as we head into the warmer months.

“A fantastic solution in terms of shelf life, volume and price, bag-in-box formats can be dispensed on a hand-pull through the cellar, from the fridge or even at room temperature directly from the bar.”

At 4% ABV, this latest addition joins the range of easy drinking hazy ciders, including Rosie’s Pig Cloudy Cider 4.2% (20L and 10L), Rosie’s Pig Cloudy Cider with Rhubarb 4% (10L), and Rosie’s Pig Cloudy Cider with Raspberry 4% (10L).

Rosie’s Pig Tropical Cloudy Cider is now available for on-trade customers nationwide.

Run by the fourth generation of the Weston family, Westons Cider – based in Herefordshire – also produces Henry Westons, Stowford Press, Old Rosie and distributes Veltins German Pilsener in the UK.
