A range of whisky cocktails is on the menu for a takeover of a London hotel bar by Glenfiddich to create a “gentleman’s lounge bar”.

For four weeks to July 3, The Hyde Bar and Terrace at The Park Tower Knightsbridge hotel has become a destination for sampling Glenfiddich’s single malts as well as cocktails made with Glenfiddich 12 Year Old.

Designed as a gentleman’s lounge bar, it has an outdoor cigar terrace which will host the London heat of the Cigar Smoking World Championships on June 22.

The cocktails include The English Afternoon combining Glenfiddich 12 Year Old with an Earl Grey loose tea infusion, Cointreau, honey and lemon juice, and The Artist, a simple mix of the 12 Year Old with lemon juice and simple syrup. The Coffee Old Fashioned will be made with Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, crème de cacao, coffee and orange bitters.

Cocktails are priced at £15 each. The Hyde Bar also offers a Glenfiddich whisky flight featuring the 15-, 18- and 21-year-old single malts for £25.

A food menu has been exclusively created by Pascal Proyart, executive head chef at The Park Tower Knightsbridge. Highlights of the menu will include venison scotch egg, grilled Surrey beef rib eye entrecote and Glenfiddich strawberry trifle.

The Glenfiddich gentleman’s lounge chef at The Park Tower Knightsbridge is open from 8am to 2am daily.
