White Heron launches British Framboise Raspberry Liqueur

British Framboise Raspberry Liqueur

White Heron Drinks is introducing British Framboise Raspberry Liqueur to its portfolio, now available through UK distributor Love Drinks.

The younger sibling of blackcurrant liqueur brand British Cassis, the new Framboise is made with Herefordshire raspberries, using classic winemaking techniques to “acquire the full spectrum of flavours from the fruit”.

Once the raspberry juice has fermented naturally with champagne yeast, it is then blended with a small amount of vodka to fortify and sweeten.

Available in 500ml and 200ml bottles, the “fresh and fruity”, vegan-friendly British Framboise Raspberry Liqueur can be added to champagne or prosecco and used as a base for a range of drinks and cocktails.

To support the launch and drive trial, White Heron has created a selection of signature serves, including Sweet Delight, a take on the famous Clover Club cocktail recipe, as well Framboise Basil Smash and Framboise Spritz.

Jo Hilditch, founder of White Heron Drinks, said: “This has been a few years in development so we’re really excited to now bring British Framboise to the market and can’t wait to see the reaction from the mixologists, the wider drinks trade and consumers.

“The essence of our raspberries, grown in the fields of Herefordshire, is perfectly captured in this liqueur offering a new dimension to a wide range of drinks, serves and cocktails.”
