Win £5,000 with J₂O this Christmas


This Christmas, soft drinks brand J₂O is launching its Golden Straw campaign, which gives consumers and bars the chance to win prizes over the festive season.

Consumers will be offered a special straw with every purchase with the chance to win an instant free drink if a golden straw is unwrapped. Codes printed on the inside of the straw wrapper also allow consumers to enter an online competition to win a grand prize of £10,000, with a chance for the outlet to win £5,000 too.

“Christmas is always a key sales period for the J₂O brand but with this consumer activation we’re helping our customers drive even bigger festive sales in-outlet with this fun and engaging competition,” Russell Kirkham, senior shopper marketing manager at Britvic Soft Drinks, said. “Not only will consumers enjoy taking part and winning free drinks, but there’s also a chance for our customers to win £5,000 for their outlet too – so even more reasons to stock up on J₂O this Christmas!”

Participating customers will be provided with a POS kit including drip mats and posters to raise the profile of the competition. The kit also includes clear instructions for managers to make it as easy as possible for staff as well as engaging their consumers. The activation will be available to free-to-buy and managed outlets to take part from the beginning of November until late December.
