Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town

The public’s favourite London bars and clubs have been revealed as part of the line-up of winners in the 2015 London Lifestyle Awards.

The title of bar of the year went to The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town (pictured), hidden behind a Smeg fridge in The Breakfast Club in Spitalfields and noted for its cocktails and its design by Finch Interiors. The runner-up was Aqua Shard.

The award for best hospitality group went to Inception Group, which operates bars and clubs such as Mr Fogg’s in Mayfair, Bunga Bunga, Cahoots, Maggie’s, Barts, Beaver Lodge, Cocobananas and the newly opened Mr Fogg’s Tavern in Covent Garden.

Mahiki was named best club while Novikov took the title of restaurant of the year. Home House was named best members club and the Ham Yard Hotel was best hotel. Innerplace was named the best concierge company.
