Halloween-themed fun is to be generated in bars and pubs by ready-to-drink brand WKD this October with cauldrons for serving drinks.
The moulded cauldrons, which have authentic-looking feet to keep them stable and a pouring lip to aid sharing, are being provided to outlets alongside ideas for mixed drinks using WKD.
Under the banner of “Witch Cocktail Cauldron?”, point-of-sale materials will promote options for groups of friends to enjoy WDK with spirits and soft drink mixers.
They include the WKD Pumpkin Grin, combining WKD Iron Brew, whisky, lime and lemonade over ice, and the WKD Zombie Zinger, mixing WKD Red, vodka, lime cordial and cola over ice.
A mixing guide is provided to help staff prepare the cocktails quickly and effectively at busy times. It instructs that each cauldron should be served with four glasses and informs that each poured serving contains around one unit of alcohol.
WKD will also be providing outlets with a range of point-of-sale items created in a suitably fun WKD-style, including banners, posters, mobiles and table-talkers.
