Springboard, the charity dedicated to changing lives and unlocking potential through hospitality careers, has announced the appointment of five new trustees to its board.
The new trustees, who will take up their positions in December, bring a wealth of experience from leading organisations across legal, hospitality, professional services and communications sectors:
- Nicola Wilton, HR business partner, Hilton
- Leni Savva, chief financial officer, Elior
- Jon Dale, strategic corporate affairs & ESG lead, Punch Pubs
- Fiona Hamilton, director of strategic growth, William Murray PR & Marketing
- Michael Flanner, partner, Linklaters
The appointments come as Springboard embarks on a new strategy that will deliver 1 million skills, change thousands of lives and support 5,000 people into work each year, helping address the ongoing skills challenges facing the hospitality industry.
Allister Richards, chair of Springboard and chief operating officer at CH&CO, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Michael, Nicola, Leni, Jon and Fiona to the board. Each brings outstanding expertise and passion for developing people and strengthening our sector.
Together, their knowledge across governance, legal, brand, people and strategic leadership will be invaluable as we deliver on our ambitious new strategy, empowering thousands of individuals to build fulfilling hospitality careers.”
Jon Dale, strategic corporate affairs & ESG lead at Punch Pubs, added: “Joining the board of trustees at Springboard is a privilege. I’ve long admired their work and impact, having seen first-hand over the years how it transforms lives through skills, opportunity and support. In these challenging times, Springboard’s mission is more vital than ever – for individuals, communities and the hospitality sector as a whole. I’m excited to help shape its strategic direction and champion the value it brings.”
With the addition of these new trustees, Springboard’s board now represents a diverse range of employers and leaders who share a common goal: ensuring a thriving, inclusive, and skilled hospitality workforce for the future.
